Feedback is a major part of how we stay ahead. This policy aims to outline clear methods for providing and receiving feedback about any of our business activities, big or small.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<h2>1. Objectives<\/h2>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>The purpose of actionable feedback is to identify areas for development, improve operations and encourage open discourse. It should be specific, constructive, and result in tangible outcomes.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>Continuous improvement: Feedback should nurture a company culture of continuous learning and growth. This is something we encourage in any and all areas of our business operation.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>Improving your experience: Feedback should help us improve the services we offer. It also helps us create better relationships with our users.<\/p>\r\n<p>Improving our content: Feedback should help us improve our blog and public-facing content. This would aim to add value and clarity for anyone in our audience of accounts payable professionals and decision-makers.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<h2>2. Guidelines for providing feedback<\/h2>\r\n<p>We ask that your feedback follows the SBI Model (Situation-Behaviour-Impact) to ensure it is clear and specific:<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Situation <\/strong>\u2013 Tell us about the situation or context of your feedback.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Behaviour <\/strong>\u2013 Tell us about the behaviour or action your feedback relates to.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Impact <\/strong>\u2013 Tell us about the result \u2013 was it positive or negative? \u2013 and how it impacted you.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>The best kind of feedback is:<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Specific and constructive<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Focusses on the behaviour and impact, <em>not <\/em>the person<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Solutions-orientated<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Timely<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Respectful<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<h3>An example of good actionable feedback:<\/h3>\r\n<p><strong>Situation:<\/strong> \u2018On Monday 29<sup>th<\/sup>\u2019s call about your new updates&#8230;\u2019<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Behaviour:<\/strong> \u2018&#8230;the invoice processing software was not explained in depth enough.\u2019<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Impact:<\/strong> \u2018The result was that we were unclear about certain functions on your software.\u2019<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Improvement Suggestion:<\/strong> \u2018Next time we could approach the relevant section in greater depth.\u2019<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<h2>3. Zahara\u2019s standards for receiving feedback<\/h2>\r\n<p>Listen actively: We expect our employees to be open to feedback without getting defensive. Understand the feedback and its intent \u2013 is it directed at improvement, growth, or understanding?<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Request clarity:<\/strong> Don\u2019t be afraid to ask for clarity. Ask questions to gain a deeper understanding and clarify expectations.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Reflect and act:<\/strong> Once you understand the feedback, take time to reflect on it, then take action to implement changes where needed.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Check in:<\/strong> Once you\u2019ve taken action, check back in with the person that gave you feedback to see how they responded.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<h2>4.
